Diane Louise Revard, 66, of Goshen, died at 8:40 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023, at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1956, in Liberal, Kansas, to William C. and Dorothy (O'Brien) Weilert. On Dec. 27, 1980, in Haysville, Kansas, she married Lynn Revard; he survives.
Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Lynna Revard of Goshen; two sons, Isaac (Melissa) Revard of Anderson and Luc (Priscilla) Revard of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren, Trystan, Isaiah Lucca, Rowan, Annaliese, George, Chris, Edward, and James Revard; two sisters, Debbie Weilert of Kismet, Kansas, Patti Harp of Liberal, Kansas; a brother, David (Vickie) Weilert of Austin, Texas; and her beloved dogs, Romo and Annie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Weilert.
Diane loved Jesus and was a member of River of Life Fellowship Church. She worked as an RN and loved taking care of people, always putting their comfort first. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, keeping a tidy house and sewing. She had sewn a blanket for all her grandchildren as well as many friends and kids. Diane loved people, especially her kids and grandbabies.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at River of Life Fellowship Church, 11162 S.R. 120, Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, May 24, also at the church. Anyone attending the services is encouraged to wear bright colors in honor of Diane. Services will be conducted by Pastors Rick Lambright and Gordon Henke. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, for a graveside service in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
