Lenore A. "Lennie" Evans, 76, of DuBois, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born on Jan. 24, 1949, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Caroline (Hoynoski) Kezel.
She had worked for Manchester Tank and Equipment in Elkhart, Indiana, for many years.
Lennie was a gentle soul who was loved by all who knew her. She loved her cats, football and Elvis Presley. She also took great pride in restoring her family homestead and keeping it in pristine condition.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society.
Lennie is survived by two nephews (Kent and Kirk Kezel), her very dear friend (Michelle Sumerix) and her faithful caregivers (Jackie, Madee, Barb and Miranda).
She was preceded in death by one brother (Victor Kezel) and one nephew (Keith Kezel).
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. The Rosary will be at 10 am.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Catherine with Father Michael Scanga as celebrant.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
