Richard Hackman Obituary
Richard D. Hackman, 73, of Elkhart died Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at his home.
Richard was born May 14, 1948, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late Alfred and Dorothy (Edgerton) Hackman.
He is survived by his two daughters, Laura (Brian) Chambers of Granger and Carrie (Keith) Burch of Greensboro, North Carolina. Richard is also survived by his two brothers, Bill (Cindy) Hackman of Elkhart and Al (Janice) Hackman of Portland, Michigan, as well as two grandchildren, Allison and Tyler.
Richard served in the military and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. He was also a Notre Dame fan through thick and thin.
Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home in Elkhart have been entrusted with the arrangements.
