Richard L. Lebold, 67, died Aug. 18, 2023, at his home in Elkhart, Indiana.
He was born Nov. 25, 1955, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Leonard and Virginia (Hoffman) Lebold. On Sept. 8, 1984, he married Lisa Hayes in Elkhart, Indiana.
Mr. Lebold is survived by his wife Lisa of Elkhart, sons Eric (Miranda) and Gregory (Kendra) Lebold of Elkhart, grandchildren Emersyn and Tayden Lebold of Elkhart, brother Jeff Lebold of Elkhart, sister-in-law Julie Hayes of Elkhart, and nephews Jason (Jade) Christensen of McKinney, Texas, and Jeret (Alison) Christensen of Osceola.
Rick was a 1974 graduate of Concord High School. He worked 41 years at Miles Laboratories / Bayer / Siemens as a carpenter millwright and in various other roles. In his spare time he enjoyed working around the house, helping others fix things, and watching sports, but even more he loved coaching and watching his children and grandchildren play their sports. He also enjoyed his family vacations to Fort Myers Beach Florida, where he spent time walking to the pier, fishing, shelling and taking in sunsets.
There will be no visitation. A family graveside service will be at Olive (West) Cemetery. Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home in Goshen, Indiana is assisting with arrangements and condolences can be submitted through the website www.rrefh.com. Memorial gifts in Rick's honor may be directed to Concord Little League.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Howe and Dr. Matthew Koscielski for their love and support through a difficult time.
