Robert Putnam Obituary
Robert "Bob" Putnam, 79, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, died Sept. 7, 2025, in Sun City Center, Florida. A military service was held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Sept. 16. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at Simonton Lake Sportsmen's Club. Arrangements are with Sun City Center Funeral Home.

I remember working with Bob when he was in Dayton and when he came to head up the credit department in Elkhart. All good class act with everybody around him. Never a bad word from him or about him we will not forget him. He was one of the best people that I knew and worked with. We will miss him.

A great guy to talk to,always had time to speak on any topic with you.Robert was a Vietnam vet brother to me. He served in the same infantry division as I did and during the same time period.
