Theresa Jane Culp, 56, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday Aug. 24, 2025, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born on April 14, 1969, in South Bend to Marlin and Jane Culp.
She graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1987 and received her associate degree from Ivy Tech. She was the office manager at Elkhart Plating. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 395 in Elkhart, and a former member of the Elkhart Lions Club. USBC Bowling League and various leagues. Theresa volunteered at the Learner Theater in Elkhart, and she was in several plays through Premier Arts.
Surviving are her parents, Marlin and Jane Culp of Elkhart; a son, Garrett Moles of Elkhart; a brother, Jason (Kellie) Culp of Elkhart, uncles Fred Barkey of Florida and Jim Barkey of Wolcottville, Indiana; aunt Kay Culp of Elwood, Indiana; several cousins and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Ivan Culp Sr. and Hazel, maternal grandparents Ralph and Caroline Barkey, uncles Alan Barkey, Berton Thomson and Ivan Culp Jr., and aunts Brenda Barkey, Sandy Barkey and Donna Thompson.
Visitation for Theresa will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514, where the memorial service will be 1 p.m.
