Verba was a one of a kind lady. She enjoyed life and I'm sure inspired others to make the most of their time on earth. She was a role model and will be dearly missed.

Kirk, Melody and Mark, I am sorry to hear of Verba's passing. She was a great boss, mentor and friend to me for many years at Hubbard Hill. I still carry with me things I learned from Verba, she was one of a kind! I learned so much from her, and I had always hoped I would be able to visit with her once again to reminisce about those days! They are some of my greatest memories, working beside her in the kitchen at Hubbard Hill. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Prayers to you all!

Melody, I send prayers of peace for you and your whole family. I won't be able to be there to support you as I'm in Virginia but I'm with you in thought.
