Harley McCann Obituary
Rev. Harley Morgan McCann, age 76 of Wilkes County passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Rev. McCann was born in Wilkes County on November 1, 1937 to the late Noah Gordon McCann and Nellie Jolly McCann.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Harley Randall McCann; and a brother, Bobby Lee McCann.
Rev. McCann is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn B. McCann; children, John G. McCann and wife Jodie, Rebecca C. Haas, Eddie McCann and wife Kathy, Eric McCann; sister, Mary Agnes Childress; grandchildren, Karah Gilpin, Colt Haas, Kayla McCann, Montana McCann; great grandchildren, Cody McCann, Hayden Williams; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Pleasant Home Baptist Church led by Rev. Russ Nixon and Rev. Shane Burcham. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in honor of Rev. McCann to Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
