Connie´s parents were William Austin Noland and Wilma Lee Pitman Noland. She loved Leadville and Buena Vista, Colorado. She lived in these two cities as a child and a young girl.
She had many happy memories of Colorado and always loved visiting these 2 cities. Rest in peace, Connie.

Connie was my mother´s sister. She was a very special aunt to me; I loved her very much. She helped me so much when I was recovering from a deep sadness in my life. May God bless her. I will miss her every day.

This is an odd thing to say - I went to school with Connie. We went to NNCC before it became GBC and she was doing "memes" way before technology; she carried around her collection in a binder! She definitely was the OG. I am so lucky to have been able to visit with her in her home several years ago and share our college memories. Condolences to her family, she was a special lady

My condolences to Connie's family. I met Connie in 1984-85 as we were preparing for the first Cowboy Poetry Gathering. She was working at the Elko Chamber of Commerce and went above and beyond to make sure visitors and potential visitors had good information about Elko (before internet!). I'm sure her supporting role, enthusiasm, and warmth contributed to the success of the first Gathering and led to many long term friendships. I was honored to know and work with Connie.
