Elizabeth (Liz) Robinson of Elko, Nevada passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 90 at home with her daughter. She was born to Ira and Edith Harbaugh in Roseburg, Oregon on February 7, 1935. Liz grew up in Roseburg, married and began raising her three children there. In 1967 the family moved to Carson City, Nevada.
Liz was an avid horsewoman, learning to ride at a very early age and participating in many activities horseback throughout her life. She was a member of the Douglas County Dougettes, played polo and cattle penning, but her favorite was mustanging. Liz and her husband went horseback attempting to rope mustangs until wild horse Annie got involved and it was no longer allowed.
Liz was deeply compassionate throughout her life and was always taking in strays, both two legged and four legged. Her capacity to help others was amazing. While caretakers at the Carson City Fairgrounds, Liz and Robbie provided large animal rescue and shelter.
Liz loved her family and nothing made her happier than to have family at the table enjoying one of her grand meals. She supported all of her children's many activities even as adults. Later in life, Liz and Robbie gave up horses for old cars and traveled all over to car shows. When they retired, they moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona until Robbie passed. Liz then moved to Carson City with her daughter and moved from Carson City to Elko with her daughter and son in law.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband Gary (Robbie) Robinson, son Larry Arthur, stepdaughter Talea Morgan, grandson Brian Anderson and brother Bert Harbaugh as well as both of her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Pam Borda (Roger), son Terry Arthur (Coni), son in law David Morgan (Jody), grandsons Quinn Cypher and Aaron Chilson, granddaughter in law Yvonne Anderson, sister Doris Lewis (Don), sister in law Jan Harbaugh and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date with family at Liz and Robbie's favorite mustanging spot where their ashes will be spread. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to
your favorite charity.
