My family has known Hazel for a great many years and has always brought joy with every visit she made to us. She was a very dear friend to my mother and she will be in our thoughts and prayers for a very longtime. Our prayers are with her family at this time. Bless you all.

She was always warm, and I always felt at home in her home, as a girl my favorite place was between her chair and the couch, I would pretend I was reading a magizine while she would be reading.
I fell asleep behind the couch one day and she didn't know where I was and she was so worried!
On our birthdays, she would line the couch with stuffed animals, the birthday girl would pick out 2 or so and then after that the rest of us were able to pick out one, she didn't want any of us to feel left out.
She is just so loving and caring. I call her the beacon of my childhood because she alone made it a good one, my best memories are with her and Grandpa.
She is in Heaven now, I know, and I am so happy for those who get to be around her now, I am sure they were happy to recieve her. I have loved her all my life, and I love her still

I miss my grandmother. She was the best person that I have ever met. She is wonderful. She was a huge fan of life and people.
