Lawrence Denison Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Lawrence "Larry" Denison, who left us on October 14th, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Salida, Colorado, Larry lived a life defined by strength, grit, and an unshakable sense of responsibility.
From a young age, he took on the role of man of the house, caring for his family and learning the value of hard work. He later served his country with honor in the Vietnam War, carrying that same determination throughout his life.
Larry had a tough exterior and wasn't one to show his emotions easily, but beneath that roughness was a deep desire to see his children succeed and do well. His love showed through his actions, his guidance, and the lessons he shared.
He found joy in simple things like riding motorcycles, working on vehicles, and sharing stories and hard earned wisdom with those around him.
Larry is survived by his children, Aaron Denison, Derek Denison, Jillian Killen and several grandchildren. He is also survived by the community that knew him, respected him, and learned from him along the way.
Services will be held at the VFW Hall in Elko, NV on November 22 at 10 a.m.
