Marilynn E. Huff

ELKO - Marilynn E. Huff went to be by the Lord's side on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Elko, Nevada. She had spent her last several days surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born in Spokane, Washington on March 8, 1935 to Myrtle E. (Stenerson) and Robert C. Depner.
Marilynn attended school at Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy in Cour d'Alene, Idaho. She always had great stories to tell of her time there. Marilynn eventually moved from the Washington and Idaho area to California. There she met her husband Melvin C. Huff and they were married on June 28, 1969. Marilynn had a loving spirit. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and watching old Western movies.
Marilynn is survived by her husband, her five children, Laurie Billington, Charles Greene, John (Kellie) Huff, Michele (Darby) Sides and Michael (Vala) Huff, and her sister, Jan Manconi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rodney Billington, Bailey (Jared) Benson, Chris Huff, Craig Huff, Daniel (Monica) Sides, Cody Huff, Mathew Sides, Zackary (Brytnee) Huff, Akeisha (Jason) Brinkerhoff, Richard Huff and Markus Huff. Marilynn is also survived by her great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaiden, Kyler, Brooklynn, Paislie, Ariea, Gunnar, Berretta, Fynley, Ruxton, Logan, Renesmae, Roselynn, Aubree, Tempy, Jameson, Harlow, Taven and Chloe.
Marilynn was preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers Robert and Rodrick, son-in-law Kim Billington, brother-in-law Angelo Manconi, Sr., and grandson Joseph Sides.
Her services will be held at Burns Funeral Home in Elko, Nevada at noon on Friday, January 5th.
