Patrick Shawn McAnany

October 10, 1956 – April 24, 2021

Patrick Shawn McAnany passed away peacefully surrounded by his family April 24, 2021. Pat was born October 10, 1956 in Kamloops BC Canada to Robert and Alice McAnany. Moving to the United States in 1965 with his family. Pat worked in underground mining all but his last five years of his life. The last five years he worked in landscaping, enjoying the fresh air and all that he learned.

Pat was an avid outdoorsman, loved to fish, hunt and hiking with his children when they were young.

Pat is survived by wife Carolyn and his 3 children Adam McAnany (Brandy), Robert McAnany (Hanna), Cayla Matheson (Ken) who were the joy of his life. Step daughter Bobbie Charters (Jeff). His grand children Landon, Alise, Kieran McAnany, Landon and Abigail Wakefield, Payslee, Kamden and Aiden Matheson and his only sister Anne Alderman. Many nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kent and Richard McAnany.

The family wants to thank the wonderful care given by Guiding Light Hospice nurses, CNA and Dr. Tkoch from Guiding Light Hospice and Dr. Simon his primary doctor.

Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
