RANDALL COLLINS Obituary

Randall Ray Collins (RC) as born March 28, 1961 to Edgar and Della Collins in Delta, CO. He grew up in Meeker and graduated from Meeker High School in 1979. Randy went to work for Colowyo Coal Mines for several years. In 1989 he moved to Elko, NV and went to work for Newmont Gold Mines where he had just completed 28 years of service.

Randy had a huge heart and many friends. He loved to hunt and fish and from a very early age Randy loved anything on wheels or tracks, the faster the better. Randy was a mechanical genius and could build anything. He was also a member of the RC Flying Club in Elko. If it was broken he could fix it. Randy's family and friends were never surprised at what he dragged home to fix and get running again.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Ed Collins. He is survived by his mother, Della Collins of Mountain Home, ID; sisters, Kathy (Randy) Lewis of Idaho; and Pam (John) Bell, of NV; children Kylenna, Tirae, Tanishna, and Tyler, 10 grandchildren, as well as an uncle, two aunts, a nephew and several nieces and cousins who will miss him. Randy recently found a new family with Alice Hanauska and her children, Carrie, Erin, and Tom to share his love and life with. Together the families shared joy and happiness and lived life to the max.

Randy had requested to be cremated so no funeral services will be held. The family will have a celebration of Randy's life on August 30 at 1:30 pm at the Grace Baptist Church in Elko, with a reception to follow.
