Janice Gail Sharp

Janice Gail Sharp, 72, of Fayetteville, died Thursday (Feb. 16, 2017). Mrs. Sharp was a native of Lincoln County and daughter of the late Murphy Joe and Bertha Odell Mitchell Wolaver. She was a member of the Calvary Fellowship Church, retired from Walmart of Fayetteville and loved to watch her grandchildren play ball. Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Sharp; son, Lynn Sharp and his wife, Andrea, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Heath Sharp and his wife, Ashley, Larry Sharp, Austin Sharp, Samuel Sharp and Jonathan Sharp; great-grandchildren, Roman and Stella Sharp; brother, Randy Wolaver; and nephews, Steven Hurst and his wife, Kay, and Bobby Hurst and his wife, Marie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Hayes and Margaret Hurst. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home.
