ALFONSO RODRIGUEZ

Alfonso Rodriguez Sr., better known by his family and close friends as "Pee Wee" went to his eternal resting place on June 22nd 2016 surrounded by the love of his family. Our dad proudly served in the United States Navy for 28 years. He served as a baker where he proudly fed thousands of service members through his tenure. In his retirement years, he was an avid fisherman and a member of the Ascarate ("Arrascate") Park Fishing Club and enjoyed spending time with his family. Our dad is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Raquelita, his mother, Esther Subia and his sister Lily R. Maldonado. Those mourning his death are his lovely wife of 49 years, Carmen, his children, Alfonso Jr., and wife Norma, Christine and her husband Rudy, David and wife Elia, his 8 grandchildren, Andrea, Alexandra, Chrystopher, Isaac, Salvador, Alicia, Gianna, Xochitl and great granddaughter, Charlize, as well as Aunti Quino and numerous cousins. Services are entrusted to San Jose Funeral home at 10950 Pellicano Dr. El Paso, Texas. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June, 29th at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 2016, at St. Joseph's Church located at 1315 Travis Street, El Paso, Texas at 11:45 a.m. Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
