Angela Holguin Obituary
Angela Viera Holguin 77, born October 1st, 1930 in Merkel, Texas-resident of El Paso passed away on Wednesday, May 28. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Proceeded in death by her son David Holguin Sr. is survived by her son Javier Holguin, and daughters; Estela Avalos, Yolanda Douglas, Alicia Hernandez, Martha Holguin (Medina) and Irene V. Youngs. Sons-in-law; Gilbert Avalos and Bruce Youngs; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Refugio Viera and sisters, Rebecca Laredo and Estela Reyes. Pallbearers will be Robert Douglas, Jaime Medina Jr., Tom Avalos, David Holguin Jr., Rudy Elorreaga, Matthew Youngs, Ariel Hernandez and Isaac Hernandez. Visitation will be at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina Chapel on Sunday, June 1st, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ignacio Catholic Church - Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The Holguin family wishes to extend a sincere "Thank you" to all the doctors and nurses, especially Angel, at Las Palmas Intensive Care Unit.
