Our deepest condolences! We live up the street from Barb & Mike and were very sadden to hear that both our beautiful neighbors have passed on. We'll miss seeing Mike in church and listening to Barb's wonderful stories! They were both sweet and loving to us and we'll miss them dearly. God Bless you all and know that you're all in our thoughts and prayers. May Barb and Mike rest in peace together next to our good Lord and Savior Jesus. Sincerely,

We are sorry to hear of Aunt Barb passing away and the loss to the family. I remember Aunt Barb coming up to visit us a few times growing up and my fathers funeral. Then when my mom Pat and I flew down to visit for a few days and Aunt Barb and Uncle Mike showed us around a good part of the area. You will be missed aunt Barb. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

My sincerest sympathies to the family. I grew up with Barb from the time I was not quite 4 years old--neighbors, buddies. Lost touch as we both moved away. However, never forgotten and many very fond memories and laughs as I look at a few childhood photos I have of us. Many of Barb's grade school classmates got together a couple years ago for a 50-year class reunion, and I had the opportunity to speak with her a couple times then. We have a Facebook page and I posted the El Paso Times obituary on that page. Here are a few of the comments:
From Jim Gabler: "Very sad to hear."
From Carol Soshnik Mullins: "R.I.P. Barb."
From Patty Turbes-Mohs: "Barb had such a wonderful sense of humor and irrereverence and with that dimpled, very expressive face of hers she would and could break me up at just about anything - including thoroughly inappropriate moments."
I don't think I could have said it any better.
Again, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

We shared so many wonderful years of sisterhood my dear friend. You hold a special place in my heart. Gone from this world, but will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.
