I will always treasure and cherish the times I spent with Chona both in the Philippines and here in El Paso. Recalling those times with you, my friend brings me joy. I am blessed to be a part of your life. I am proud of you. Rest now, my dear friend in the peace of Christ and in the arms of the Blessed Mother Mary. May we, you left behind find comfort and peace in knowing that you are in God's paradise, your true home. I love you, Cho.

I am saddened to her about this news. Even though, we never had a chance to see each other again after our college years, I can still vividly remember her smiles and her sense of humor. Our deepest sympathy and condolence to her family.

I had worked with her in Thomason for so many years (1980"s) and she was a kind and hard working person.She had left behind a thousand moments that will live in our hearts forever. "How u say dat" such a wonderful nurse, trauma case manager, friend. Girl you made things happen, never lost focus, and you mastered everything in your world. To our fearless dear friend, you will be missed and remembered. My sincere condolences to her family, and to Thomason Hospital, who will also miss her. Macatangay Family,
My heartfelt condolences to all.I'm a retired Respiratory Therapist.I worked with her occasionally when she was an ICU nurse and in other settings.Chona always had time for anyone and especially she had a great heart.So many will miss her greatly!

Chona: I liked you the first time I met you, and you were s superb teacher to my son, Steven when he first started working as a nurse at Thomason hospital. You kept him in line, and helped to make him the person he is today, and for that, I am truly gratefull. You did a great deal for many people and surely God will reward your hard work and assistance to mankind.
My wife, Diana and I will miss you and this world will be a lesser place now that you have gone.
