CHRISTOPHER FRANCIS Obituary

Christopher Troy Francis was born in El Paso, Texas on July 29, 1980 and left this world on August 14, 2013 at the age of 33. More than anything, Chris loved spending time with his children, Troy Edward Francis, age 6, of Nevada and Kay Lee Tyler, age 3, of Oklahoma. Chris was an avid musician and enjoyed all types of music, especially hard rock and heavy metal. He showed an interest in drumming from a very young age, pulling out pots and pans and banging on them as a toddler. Much of his free time was spent either as a drummer or lead vocalist for various local bands, sometimes having received radio play, of which he was extremely proud. Chris frequented Erin's Bar, in El Paso, where he took part in many karaoke contests; several of which he won. He also enjoyed playing Thursday night trivia with his Erin's family. As a master Honda technician at Borman Autoplex, he enjoyed working on vehicles and more recently, riding his motorcycle. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he loved to go off roading and often went spelunking with friends. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Mark Francis, who also shared his love of music. Chris is lovingly remembered by his mother Yvonne St. Onge, his sister Amorette Dudgeon, his brother Matt St. Onge, his aunts: Jan Ricks, Vivian Kinley and Susan Robinette, his uncles: Fred Kinley and Scott Robinett, his great-aunts: Faye Roach and Lois Twyeffort, his cousins: Tim Twyeffort, Dana Mills, Jim Towles, Athena Steward, Georgia Foret and Daphne Rippy, and the mothers of his children: Katie Royal and Natalee Tyler. I would first like to thank everyone for their thoughts and condolences, it was greatly appreciated and helped us all get through the hardest time knowing that he was in the hearts and minds of so many people that loved him. Secondly I want to say that he was an amazing person who was blessed with many talents and loved to share them with the world. I miss you so much Chris and I know that you are keeping an eye (well both eyes knowing how we used to be) on me. I miss hearing the music we used to play and listen to together as well as the long conversations we used to have about everything under the son. I still talk knowing your listening and imagine the hilarious retorts that you would come back at me with. I will always cherish the, what seems like not anywhere near enough, time that I got to spend with you. There are not enough words in this world to express how much I wish you were back here with us and i still hate that I didn't spend more time with you when I had the chance. I love you so much my dearest cousin and you are with me always. I will carry on the lessons and skills that you taught me. Thank you for always listening.
