EDWARD SALAS Obituary
Survived by wife Mary Ann, children: Teri Salas-Bortz, Michelle Salas-Lujan and Wayne Salas. Proceeded by his daughter Edie Salas.
He leaves behind six grandchildren & five great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers; Max Salas, Ernest Salas. Sisters; Esmeralda Maynes, Mary Vigil.
Serving 22 yrs in the Army Aviation, Veteran of the Vietnam War. Providing maintenance for the UH-1 Iroquois, or "Huey" and Chinook. He received medals and commendations for his dedication and bravery.
Viewing will be held Monday March 12, 2018 @ 5-9pm at the Perches Funeral Home on Joe Battle Rosary at 7pm.
Mass will be given at St Thomas Aquinas Tuesday, March 13, 2018 @ 12 pm
Interment will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 @ 1:30 pm at Fort Bliss Cemetery

Thank you Dad for calling out to Jesus on Feb 25th. Thank you for the years of sacrifice during your military years especially the War years. Thank you for the training of discipline , that we fought against as teenagers and benefited from as adults. Love you. You will be missed

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army-especially during the Vietnam War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
