JAIME HERNANDEZ

Jaime A. Hernandez, Sr., 76, peacefully entered into God's arms on February 19, 2014, surrounded by family. His greatest love and passion in life was spending time with family and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Elisa Hernandez and sister Rosa Emma Romero. Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Janie Hernandez; sons, Manny (Marina), Jaime Jr. (Yvette), Javier (Betty); daughter Estefania; stepdaughter Beatriz Marquez; stepson Jaime Marquez; loving sister Olga Fematt; grandchildren, Danny, Andres, Sarah, Samantha, Jessi, Jeremy, Nicolas, Adan, and Nina Jane; great grandchildren, Camille and Jordan, and several nieces and nephews. Other survivors include numerous family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with reciting of the rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, February 24, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery with Military Honors.
