I was Jim's roommate our Senior year at NMMI and have not seen him since 1957. I fear I was somewhat of a challenge to his good nature at times back then, but I have always thought fondly of him and our time together at NMMI.

For no reason I can ascertain, I got to thinking about Jim today and looked up his name online. I am extremely sad to find he has passed on.

My condolences to his family.

I had not seen Jim in a month and was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Jim and I used to shoot and visit at the Ft Bliss Rod and Gun Club in which he enjoyed shooting with a passion and visiting many friends he had their. I especially will miss him and considered him a great friend, he and I shared many stories and he often spoke greatly of his family. We have all lost a great friend and family man and it just won't be the same without him. My condolences go out to his family and may God Bless You always. Larry T. Harding (Shooting Buddy)

Jimmy and I attended Crockett, Austin, NMMI and TWC together but our most fun together was when we were ten years old playing with Sammy Guido, Barron Fletcher, Phillip Hart, Jimmy McNutt, David White, and later Froggy Barnes. Most of us lived on Wheeling and Federal. The days of Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts gave us experiences that we never forgot. Later Jimmy and I were business partners in Firearms Inc and Petimor Inc.. He was the most honest and thoughtful partner any businessman could ever have. I will never forget the 61 years i knew and loved Jimmy. I will always remember when Jimmy fell in love with his wonderful helpmate Rose who gave Jimmy the love that he so deserved. May God's love and presence especially be known by Rose and Betsy during this dificult time. Our Love and prayers are with you both. Charles B. Mr. Peticolas,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our County. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
