Joe Richie Obituary
El Paso - Our world grew a little dimmer when Joe F. Richie, age 57, passed away on January 28, 2021 in El Paso, TX. Joe enjoyed bringing smiles and laughter to those around him and this is what we will always remember him by. He was known for his witty sense of humor and his incredible love for his family. He spent over 25 years working for the County of El Paso and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Betty Gutierrez Richie; daughters, Danielle Richie and Deanna Richie; and sister Jeannette Richie, all of whom he adored with all his heart. He is also survived by his sisters in law, Irma Gutierrez and Araceli (Marcos) Escarsega; nieces, Susej and Arianney Perez who loved their JoJo. He will also be missed by his mother and father in law, Kiko and Irma Gutierrez, who were like parents to him for the last 25 years and made sure he was part of a large, extended family. Joe was predeceased by his mother, Rise Bailey; stepfather, Donald Bailey; and father, Joseph B. Richie.

My condolences sincerely I remember Joe as a childhood friend riding our bikes in the neighborhood and going to Hillside grade school I was grateful to see him a couple of times throughout the years may Joe rest in peace till we meet again buddy

My condolences to the family. I worked with Joe at the County. We had more good times, and laughs working together, than I can mention here. It was my pleasure and honor to work along side Joe. May he rest now in pease. God bless.
