I would like to extend condolences to the Juarez family on behalf of myself and my wife Irma. When I heard the news of Judge Juarez's passing, I was deeply saddened. I knew Judge Juarez, appearing before him in our many hearings and trials in his court. Always the gentleman and even tempered. He will be greatly missed by all. I know he is basking in the light, and in the warmth and love of our dear Lord. I pray for the family, that our Lord will comfort and console you. Your friend and colleague Jaime Sanchez.

Oh, my dear friend, Jose, my heart sank when I learned that you had moved on. I felt an instantaneous emptiness in my soul. You moved back home to your heavenly Father, who now cradles you in His loving arms, and smiles upon you serene face and joyful heart. I will miss your presence, the laughs, the conversations, and most of all, your kind and one-of-a-kind friendship. Still, I have hope and faith in the knowledge that there will be more fun times, and you and I will continue to enjoy an amazing friendship in the house of our Father. I am in solidarity with your lovingly family; and, like them, I too feel the deep sense of loss, and at the same time, I also celebrate your wonderful and loving life. Hasta la Vista, mi gran amigo!

I shared space with Judge Juarez back in the 80's with Robert Kennedy and Wesley Martin. Jose was very affable and hard working. We touched base in the last few years before he left the bench. I will treasure my memories of him. On behalf of my wife Lupe and myself we wish that the Peace of the Lord be with you all. Our condolences.
