Leonor Barragan

Our Beloved Leonor S. Barragan, 74, passed away on February 25, 2011. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso , Texas and worked as legal secretary for many years for the late Albert Armendariz Sr. and with Walter Boyaki until her retirement. Leonor is survived by her sister Julie Solis, her children, Martha Maldonado, Alma Davis, Robert Barragan, Joseph Barragan, David Barragan, John Barragan, Joey Elizondo, and Angelica Barragan. Including her cherished legacy of 11 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Leonor is preceded in death by her husband Roberto Barragan, her father Lorenzo Santos, her mother Librada Santos, and her daughter Patsy Barragan. This wonderful woman have unconditional love to her children instilling in us love, respect, and unwaveringly perseverance, she will be dearly missed. Troubled souls don't lose heart because God brings joy and peace, and the beauty that's in store for Mom outweighs the hurt of life's sting. No more pain, no more suffering, God has wiped away the tears. The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Augustine O. Eleje and the staff of Hospice of El Paso for providing unselfish comfort and care for our mother during her last days. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
