Luis Labrado Obituary

Luis G. Labrado, 88, 'El General' departed peacefully in his sleep on February 9, 2010. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and separated with an Honorable Discharge. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Labrado was preceded in death by his brothers: Alfonso, David, Miguel, Jesus Jose and Concepcion Labrado. He is survived by his wife Maria M. Labrado; sons Luis Cesar, Fernando, Guillermo, Alfonso, Manuel; and daughter Teresa; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Socorro Estrada, Guadalupe Sevilla, Consuelo Guzman, Maria de la Cruz Renderos, and Esperanza Rodriguez. Visitation for 'El General' will be on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 3-8 pm at Perches Funeral Home with a Prayer Service 7 pm at Perches Chapel. Burial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10 am. Pallbearers: Luis Cesar, Fernando, Guillermo, Manuel, Alfonso, and grandsons: Adrian, Joshua, Daniel Cesar and Miguel. Burial at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
