Luis Miramontes Obituary


Luis Jesus Miramontes, 77, born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, was taken by the hand to be with our Lord Jesus Christ and annointed an angel on Friday, November 7, 2008. Mr. Miramontes was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He leaves behind a loving wife of 52 years Anita Miramontes, son; Ulysses Miramontes, daughters; Ivone Cone, Irma Guzman, and Antoinette Cullen. Other survivors include his eight grandchildren, sisters; Olga De Alonso, Olivia Anguiano, Elisa Gonzalez, Ivone Miramontes and numerous family members and friends. Jesse (Mexicano por siempre), was a passionate and dynamic man who spoke fluent Russian - so well in fact, that he taught it at community college. He was a superb pool player and dancer; and, super active at his Senior Wellington Chew Center. Services for Mr. Miramontes will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home Chapel with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church; interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
