Maria Guillen Obituary
MARIA LUCILA GUILLEN, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 8, 2009 at the age of 84 years. She was born on March 25, 1925 in Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by her son, Francisco Guillen, Jr. She is survived by her husband Mr. Francisco Guillen; daughters, Maria Eleanor Hill, Irene Solis, Rosanna Gonzales, Yvette Fernandez, Guadalupe Pagan, Priscilla Espinoza; son; Gerardo Guillen; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The Guillen family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home East with recitation of the rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Fabens. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME EAST, 1460 GEORGE DIETER DR., EL PASO, TEXAS, 79936. (915) 855-8881.

Dearest Irene and family,
I want to express our deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of your mom. I was sadden to learn of her passing and I feel like it was just a short while back I had just seen her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have not forgotten you or your mom and family. I will cherish memories of our conversations and times we got to spend together when I used to live there. May the Good Lord keep you safe and give you the strength to go forward and be able to cherish the beautiful times you had with her.

Irene, my most sincerest condolences for the loss of your mother. She gave you the greatest gift, life, and you stood by her till the end. I pray that God will give you the courage and strength to overcome your loss. Just know that your mother has reached heaven and you will see her again.
