Olivia Barron Obituary


On October 12, 2008 our beloved mother Olivia Cardiel Barron went to be with our Lord. She lost her battle with Cancer. Olivia was born on Aprl 21, 1939, in Ayende, Durango. She migrated to the United States when she was 15 yrs old. She became a US Citizen at age 22. Olivia was married to Aurelio Barron and together they had two children. Olivia retired from EPISD where she loved to work. Olivia loved to cook, laugh, but most of all to be of service to others. She is survived by her two sons: Mario and Carlos. She had 7 Grandchildren: Mario Jr., Christopher, Anthony, David, Stephanie, Celeste, and Emily. She had 9 brothers and sisters: Carmen, Inez, Natividad, Manuela, Beto, Marissa, Rosa, Manuel, and Rosario. We will miss you. "Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 NLT Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 pm Thursday at Perches Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 pm. Cremation to follow.
