Oscar Almazan Obituary
Oscar "Elmo" Almazan, 50, passed away on June 13th, 2021. He was born on November 15th, 1970 in El Paso, Tx. Oscar retired after 20 years as a detention officer for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. He is survived by his partner Elsa; children Bobby, Priscilla, Jasmine, Meadow, and Anthony; grandchild Lucas; mother Virginia; sister Diana; loved one Cinthia; and beloved dog Ginger. He is preceded in death by his father, brother, and sister. He was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox & Dallas Cowboys. Visitation for Oscar is on Friday, June 25th from 5:00-9:00pm at Perches Funeral Home -West; rosary taking place at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, June 26th at 12:30pm at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery.
Oscar "Elmo" Almazán, de 50 años, falleció el 13 de junio del 2021. Nació el 15 de noviembre de 1970 en El Paso, TX. Oscar se jubiló después de 20 años como oficial de detención de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de El Paso. Le sobrevive su compañera Elsa, sus hijos: Bobby, Priscilla, Jasmine, Meadow y Anthony. También le queda su nieto Lucas, su madre Virginia, su hermana Diana, su amada Cinthia y su querido perro Ginger. Es precedido en muerte por su padre, hermano y hermana. Fue un gran fanático de los Boston Red Sox y de los Dallas Cowboys. El velorio de Oscar es el viernes 25 de junio del 2021 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Perches Funeral Home-West, con el rosario a las 7:00 p.m. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 26 de junio del 2021 a las 12:30 p.m. en la iglesia católica Reina de la Paz. Se proseguirá con el entierro en el cementerio Memorial Pines Cemetery.
