What a great lady, I am so very sad to hear of her passing but I know that she is now in the presence of the one whom she called her "best friend." Our world is a little less bright because she is gone.

I never had an opportunity to work together in a ministry with Lynn. I heard her speak many times to women's conferences, and I still carry in my Bible a gold Sacagawea dollar like she gave to women "On the Trail" to remind each woman of her worth to God.
However, Lynn was a mentor to me in seminary extension classes, which brought me to Orlando. She allowed me to interview her for my Church and Community Ministries class assignment, and suggested other people who were involved in crisis pregnancy ministry, which was the direction in ministry that I was pursuing part-time, with hope to enter it full-time after seminary. Lynn and I shared a love for literacy ministry as well.
I looked up to her for the ministries that she opened up to women who were willing to step out in faith into new types of ministries through God's grace. Lynn was a trailblazer like Sacagawea. In the last year and a half, I and a number of women in my association have seen the need to minister to exploited men, women, and children. Lynn will be greatly missed.

Ms.Lynn was such a blessing to me. She was the definition of a "Godly" woman. Her walk as a christian touched so many people on this earth. It was an honor and blessing to have had the opportunity to know her. She is rejoicing with her Lord in that beautiful place where there is no pain and suffering.......Love you Ms. Lynn
