TRINIDAD APODACA Obituary

Trinidad Rivas Apodaca, beloved mother and grandmother born June 4th, 1925, passed away on March 4th, 2014 at the age of 88 in San Elizario, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro Apodaca. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; sister, Carmen Valles; sons, Lucio Rivas(Graciela), Jesse(Freda), Fred(Juanita), Andy(Lorena) and Al(Paula); daughters, Aurora Corder(George), Alicia Zavala(Bobby), Anita Apodaca, Julia Brost and Connie Gray. She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Anita Apodaca lovingly cared for her the last 9 months of her life. The family gives her and Hospice nurses Olga Holguin and Andrea Gamboa Diaz their greatest gratitude. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation: 8:30AM, Monday, March 10, 2014 at San Jose Funeral Home 10950 Pellicano Dr. with Vigil Service at 8:45AM followed by Committal Service at 10:30AM (same day) at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services directed by San Jose Funeral Home-Fabens (915) 764-2254.

I will miss her very much so. She was a amazing woman, and brought so much love to her family and home. I only knew her as Abuela, but she definitely made an impact on my memories. And to the family, I send my deepest condolences.
