Warren Pulner Obituary
El Paso - Warren Milton Pulner passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 93. He was a longtime attorney serving in Rhode Island and El Paso Community and longtime member of Congregation B'nai Zion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa Pulner and his beloved son Charlie Pulner. He is survived by his beloved wife Claire Pulner, his loving children; Ellen Pulner Hunt (Jody), Rachel Pulner Grossman (Alan), Douglas Scheiner, his 6 beloved grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00AM at B'nai Zion Cemetery, 3915 Gateway West. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, and with the intention that those dear to him who will not attend the services in person can still participate, you may join the Graveside Service at 11:00AM virtually on Face book Live (no account needed) at: https://www.facebook.com/sunsetfuneralhome. Warren Milton Pulner falleció el jueves 25 de marzo del 2021 a la edad de 93 años. Fue abogado durante mucho tiempo en la comunidad de Rhode Island y de El Paso y miembro desde hace mucho tiempo de la Congregación B'nai Zion. Fue un esposo, padre y abuelo amado y lo echaremos mucho de menos. Le precedieron en muerte su primera esposa, Theresa Pulner, y su amado hijo Charlie Pulner. We are saddened to lose our long-time friend that we met when in Rhode Island. We developed a family friendship and visited each other often. We remember many happy times with him and his family. May God bless his soul.

I've known Warren for a really long-time. Of course I knew his son Charlie first. Charlie and I were contemporaries. I was fortunate to have been a social warrior and comrade in arms with Warren. We both worked together in the early 80's on El Paso's first public smoking ordinance. It was awesome. What an experience and what a great guy to get to know and work with on a worthy cause. Later on down the line Warren and I would cross paths from time to time. It was always a joy to chat with him. Cheers Warren on a life well-lived!! L'chaim!

I was sadden to hear of Warren's passing. He was always so kind to young lawyers and a willing mentor when I first came to town. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

I loved Warren Pulner. I enthusiastically told him that on FACEBOOK, celebrating his last birthday. To me, LOVE is a strong affection arising out of commonalities. Although a generation younger than Warren, both of us grew up on the East Coast ,and eventually settled in El Paso. Warren and I were both of the Jewish faith, and we were proud United States Navy Veterans. At one time, Warren was my attorney. I questioned his strategy in a case, and he immediately FIRED me. I'm eternally grateful that he did. A beautiful friendship could have ended.

Warren Pulner was an old school lawyer who will be missed and well remembered. He was a competent advocate and always represented his clients with great professionalism. And, he was somebody you liked to see at the Courthouse or the gym; a great conversationalist.

Warren was one of the sweetest and most genuine people I ever met. Although both attorneys, we did not have cases or other matters together. Nonetheless, I got to know him through other lawyer activities. He was always quick to greet me and always had something good to say. My condolences to the Pulner family. He will be missed.

When I was about 3 years old, my Uncle Warren heard me say that I was so strong I could tear apart a piece of tissue paper. I don't recall this, but he sure did. In my memory, we never met but he reminded me of this boast of my physical prowess. He and my aunt Theresa were ever generous to me. I, we, have lost so much with his passing.

To the family and friends of Warren.
My sincerest condolences. My interaction with Warren was via the law practice and over the course of many years I had numerous interactions with him. Always prepared and a gentlemen, dealings with Warren were always fair and upstanding. Warren was a good lawyer and worked hard for his clients. He was innovative and I always viewed him as an intellect. Warren also had a good sense of humor and enjoyed the profession. I have many fond memories of sharing life stories with Warren at docket calls and other lawyer gatherings. Warren certainly lived a very full life as a lawyer and is a member of a Great Generation of lawyers who once occupied the courtrooms and corridors of all of the El Paso Courtrooms.
May Warren Rest in Peace.
