Cheryl Stenvik

1965 - 2025

Cheryl Stenvik, age 60, of Blaine, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025, following a courageous year-long battle with cancer.
Cheryl was born on March 21, 1965, in Ely, Minnesota, where she grew up surrounded by family, community, and the Northwoods she would always hold close to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sandra and Orland Stenvik, and her cherished grandson, Leo.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Jordan (Kelley) Grahek, Jake Grahek, and Ryan Grahek, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind her three treasured grandsons, Henry, Jack, and Luke Grahek. She is further survived by her siblings, Owen Stenvik, Mark (David & AJ) Stenvik, Elissa (Amir Almog) Lindsoe, and Ralph (Zena) Stenvik, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Cheryl dedicated her career to caring for others. She began as a critical care registered nurse, where her compassion and strength made a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike. In the later years of her career, she transitioned into healthcare IT at North Memorial Hospital, where she continued to serve with intelligence, dedication, and heart.
Those who knew Cheryl knew her as someone who loved deeply, cared fiercely, and radiated beauty both inside and out. Her kindness, resilience, and warmth touched countless lives, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Washburn-McReavy, Shoreview Chapel (515 Hwy 96 W, Shoreview, MN), with visitation one hour prior.
Interment will take place at Ely Cemetery, with a celebration of life in Ely, Minnesota, in Spring 2026.
Cheryl's family is deeply grateful for the love and support shown from friends and extended family during this difficult time and for the compassionate care from the North Memorial teams she received throughout her journey.
