When I think of Bill, the first thing that comes to mind is that he was brilliant at his chosen career. Co-workers said that to have completed a project to a fare thee well was to have "Bill Cox'ed " it. But people close to him knew he was talented in many areas beyond finance. He was a singer, musician, an enterpreneur, an athlete, a coach and so much more. Personally, I remember him as warm and welcoming, kind and generous, cheerful and so witty that he seemed to serve as a stand up comedian/MC at family gatherings. I also remember him as a voracious reader who always had a good recommendation for me. This unique, intelligent, charming Renaissance man will be long remembered by the many friends and family members who loved him.

Every time I think of Bill I smile, because every time I was with him he was smiling back at me. His endless energy and passion for life was infectious. And his sense of humor was unmatched.

Recalling spring of 1983 when you and Bill would pop in for a much welcomed visit at our house in Duluth. The neighborhood kids would rally around your car and visit excitedly each time. Beautiful weather and always a joyful experience. Bill was always gregarious and downright funny. So fun to remember us all together in those days gone by
