Gloria Isgriggs Obituary

Gloria J. Isgriggs (Barlow), 75, St. Clair, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Washington.

On Feb. 21, 1947, Gloria was born to the union of Billy Barlow and LaVern (Griffin) in St. Louis. Gloria was a hairstylist for over 30 years and owned her own salon. Through doing hair at Meramec Nursing Home in Union, Gloria began her new career path in social service work for 25 years, ultimately retiring from Crab Apple Village in St. Clair after 12 years.

She loved scrapbooking, talking, crafting, cooking and going out to eat. Most of all, Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved very much. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Hartman and wife Jackie, Lonedell; daughter, Laura Love and husband Jack, Sullivan; six grandchildren, Harley Love and wife Isobel, Illinois, Max Love, St. Clair, Megan Hiedeman and husband Jimmy, Lonedell, Tommy Moise and wife Tammy, Jason Moise, all of Bellview, and Jennifer Glover and husband Brad, Lonedell; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Isgriggs; parents, Billy and LaVern Barlow; and sister, Carol "Sue" Bachman and husband Louis.

Memorial donations to the Activities Fund at Crab Apple Village are appreciated.

Private family/friend services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in care of Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
