Judith Kay "Judy" Noelke, nee Marquart, 73, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, with her children by her side.
Judy, daughter of the late Leonard Marquart and wife Catherine, nee Voss, was born April 12, 1948, in Washington. Judy grew up in Washington and received her education at St. Francis Borgia Grade School and graduated from St. Francis Borgia High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin Leonard Noelke May 23, 1981, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Washington. The couple made their home in Washington. They moved to Eureka in 2008.
Judy worked in accounting for over 20 years at Washington Motor Company, later known as Chris Auffenberg Ford. She then worked as an administrative assistant at Maritz Travel in Fenton. She started a special event decor business, Pizzazz, with her daughter-in-law and later assisted with her daughter's photography business, TSS Photography. In her free time, Judy loved being on the lake, where she enjoyed boating and water skiing. She also enjoyed photography, decorating and traveling. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Judy had many hobbies, but her favorite way to spend time was with her family and granddaughter.
She is survived by one son, Doug Noelke and wife Brenda, Union; one daughter, Tina Noelke and husband Jeff Orf, Eureka; one granddaughter, Katy Orf; four sisters, Vera Benedict and husband Harrison, Washington, Dorothy Wright and husband John, Chesterfield, Laverne Hellebusch and husband Carl, Olathe, Kansas, and Mary Jane Marquart, Washington; two brothers, Leonard Marquart and wife Micki and Gary Marquart, all of Washington; one sister-in-law, Annette Engemann and husband Larry, Washington; one brother-in-law, Keith Noelke and wife Debi, Washington; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Noelke; her parents, Leonard and Catherine Marquart; and one sister, Ruth Marquart.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 7, from 4-7 p.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington. A parish rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington, with the Rev. Mike Boehm officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Evelyn's House Hospice.
The Noelke family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington.
