Naomi Fuhler Obituary
Mrs. Fuhler, daughter of the late John E. Jordan and wife Hattie, nee Louis, was born April 24, 1939, in Lesterville. She received her education from O'Fallon Tech High School. On Oct. 12, 1957, she was united in marriage to Donald Fuhler at St. Cronin Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Mrs. Fuhler loved to travel, especially going to the beach and mountains. She liked to bake cookies with her grandchildren and work with plants, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Among her survivors are her husband of nearly 66 years, Donald Fuhler, Washington; daughters, Laura Johnson, Summerville, South Carolina, and Donna Semonis and husband Robert, Washington; brother, R.V. Jordan and wife Shirley, Arnold; grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Barry and Brandy Johnson, Russell and Casey Johnson, Kelly and Kevin Blackwood, John Paul Milburn, Jeremy and Tanya Milburn, Samuel and Megan Semonis, Jordan and Cassie Semonis, Cindy Semonis and Annabelle Semonis; 15 great-grandchildren; a host loved ones and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, John "Jack" Jordan, Dorene Jordan, Connie Blake, Dorothy Culverhouse, Louise Jordan and Lafawn Schuchmann; and her son-in-law James Johnson.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 25, from 9-11 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington, with a funeral service following at 11 a.m.
Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Washington.
Memorial donations can be made to the Franklin County Humane Society or Franklin County CASA.
The Fuhler family was served by Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Naomi. She was always so sweet (and funny) when she came in for her hair appointments. She talked about her family so lovingly. Praying for Gods comfort for your family.

Many years ago, I had the good fortune to meet "Laura's Mom". Some of my favorite memories with her are early morning walks on the beach, great conversations and enjoying meals with the family. By he way, she made the best cole slaw I ever tasted. It was always evident she loved her family very much. I am sure she will be missed by all and never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sent with love.
