Paul Wilson Obituary
Paul was born Dec. 14, 1942, in Stoddard County to Herman E. Wilson and wife Wilma, nee Overby. He was united in marriage to Joyce Marie Hooker, April 14, 1963, in Wardell.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray Summit. He was a great husband, father and grandfather, a hard worker and great provider for his family. He loved to invent and piddle in his garage and was an avid fisherman. But most of all, he loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, Paul is survived by three sons, Paul Wilson Jr. and wife Heather, Festus, Wayne Wilson and Laura, Valley Park, and Michael Wilson and wife Tiffany, Robertsville; his siblings, Loretta Savage, Pat Fisher, Dan Wilson and wife Jody, and Randy Wilson and wife Kathy; six grandchildren, Kristin Harris and husband Conner, Zack Wilson and wife Emily, Devin Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Annabella Wilson and Amelia Wilson; four step-grandchildren, Michael Rhodes, Robbie Rhodes, Brian Rhodes and Alex Rhodes; one great-grandchild, Myles Harris; other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Arthur, Ted and Dennis.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Gray Summit. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Tommy Schmitt officiating.
Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.
The Wilson family requests memorials be given to First Baptist Church Gray Summit Backpack Program or First Baptist Church Gray Summit Shoebox Program.
Arrangements are in care of Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.
