Shirley Kohlbusch Obituary

Shirley Ann Kohlbusch, 58, Hermann, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Kohlbusch was born in Hermann Aug. 30, 1953, the daughter of the late Milton Bock and wife Flora, nee Hurst.

She was united in marriage to Douglas Dewey Kohlbusch Feb. 20, 1971, in Hermann.

Mrs. Kohlbusch was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, and was a supervisor in housekeeping for Frene Valley Health Center.

She is survived by her two sons, Brad Kohlbusch and wife Amy, Carl Junction, and Jeff Kohlbusch, Hermann; three daughters, Deborah Shafer and husband Jeff, Camdenton, and Linda Kohlbusch and Jennifer Weist and husband Mike, all of Joplin; two brothers, Kenny Bock, Hermann, and Gene Bock, Leslie; sister, Eileen Benson and husband Frank, Hermann; three brothers-in-law, Dwight and Vernon Kohlbusch, both of Hermann, and Doyle Kohlbusch, Green Castle, Pa.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Kohlbusch was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Kohlbusch, Nov. 6, 2011; parents, Milton and Flora Bock; brother, Robert Bock; and brother-in-law, Delano Kohlbusch.

Funeral services were held at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral; Home, Hermann, Saturday, June 9, with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.

Burial was in Hermann Cemetery, Hermann.

Memorials to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer, St. Paul United Church of Christ, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, or the donor's choice are preferred.

The family was served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
