Steven Claggett Obituary
Steven grew up in Union. He attended the University of Missouri and completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and computer science. He was united in marriage to Gale Delbruegge in 1968 at Zion United Church of Christ, Union.
Steven enjoyed a successful career as a professional engineer for Ajilon Consulting and was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the company in 2005. He retired from Ajilon Consulting in 2006.
Steven served as president of the Four Rivers Genealogical Society and was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and Washington Historical Society. He enjoyed gardening, genealogy, and writing.
He is survived by his wife, Gale Lee Claggett, Union; one son, Jonathan Claggett, Phoenix, Maryland; one daughter, Jennifer Hampton and husband Daniel, Darlington, Maryland; two grandchildren, Donald Hampton, and Dora Hampton, both of Darlington, Maryland; two sisters, Linda Scharfenberg, Union, and Lauri Deaton and husband Bob, St Clair.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Dora, nee Kirchoff, Claggett.
Services were held privately.
The Claggett family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, MO.

Steve,
Was one of a kind. He was a great leader, mentor, coach, friend and his laughter was contagious. We were blessed with his personality and he made all of us at Ajilon better people.
