Teresa Smith Obituary

Teresa Ann Smith, 63, St. Clair, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024.

Teresa was born November 20, 1960 in Chillicothe, MO; the daughter of Bobby Jean Schneiter and his wife, Lucille (Busse). Teresa received her education from Union High School. She was united in marriage to Leroy ?Dean? Smith on October 3, 1980 and the couple would have celebrated 44 years of marriage this year. She loved to cook and go to yard sales. Teresa was happiest spending her time with her family and friends, and she cherished every moment with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Jean Schneiter and Lucille Mullis, and one sister, Deborah Schneiter.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Smith, of St. Clair; two sons: Michael Smith and significant other Ginger Johnson, of Puryear, TN, and Robert Smith, of St. Clair; five daughters: Elisha Smith, of St. Clair, Brittany Smith, of Puryear, TN, Erica Goldstein and husband Andrew, of Moscow Mills, Nicole Buffer and husband Zachary, and Ashley Littrell and husband Cody, all of St. Clair; one brother, Rick Schneiter and wife Debbie, of Moselle; one sister, Connie Scharfenberg and husband Scott, of St. Clair; nine grandchildren: Brooklyn Brower, Braiden Firebaugh, Nathan Willi, Abby Willi, Bailey Littrell, Benson Littrell, Jason Stokes, Emily Stokes, and Ethan Garver; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held Friday, June 21, 2024 at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union, with the burial in Anaconda Cemetery, St. Clair.

Memorials in honor of Teresa Smith can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org).

Arrangements were in care of Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
