Elsie Patricia Dutton Jacobsen, 91, died August 15, 2024. She was born in Vancouver, WA on April 2, 1933 to parents Elmer and Janet Dutton.
Merle Edward Jacobsen, 93, died July 7, 2025. He was born in Tacoma, WA on March 29, 1932 to parents Eddie and Jessie Jacobsen of Farmer, WA.
They were teenage sweethearts married February 22, 1953. Nearly 71 years and 6 months together.
They raised three children; had six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family thanks Central Washington hospital for Elsie's care. Also, Blossom Creek for Merle's care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to either Waterville Ambulance or Badger Mountain Ski Area.
A Celebration of life for Elsie and Merle will be held September 27th at 11:30 a.m. at the Waterville Lutheran Church.
