STEVEN WILSON Obituary

Steven Robert Woodrow Wilson Mr. Steven Robert Woodrow Wilson of Goose Hollow Road, Geneva, Alabama passed away Monday, July 26, 2010. He was 66. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Pastor Song Lim, Rev. Dale Morgan and Rev. Gerald Hollis officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memory Gardens cemetery in Ozark with full military honors and Sor-rells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Geneva Thursday, July 29, from 6 until 8 p.m. Mr. Wilson was born August 23, 1943 in Monmouth, Illinois to the late Charles Seth and Vera Grace Crawford Wilson. After 21 years of service with the U.S. Army, which included three tours in Vietnam, he retired as a 1st SGT. He was a very giving person and helped anyone in need; a person everyone could call "Dad". He thoroughly enjoyed his trade as a Master Mechanic. He was a member of Eden Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, a son, Thomas Steven Wilson, as well as two brothers and two sisters, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Hui Ran Chun Wilson, Geneva, AL; two sons, Steven Lee (Kelly C.), Shreveport, LA, Eric (Brandee) Wilson Mill-brook, AL; one daughter, Anna (Adam) Coker, San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren: Leah and Steven Wilson, Shreveport, LA, Reed and Blake Wilson, Millbrook, AL; five brothers and two sisters; other extended family and friends.
