Amanda Marie Juchno

Amanda Marie (Hermann) Juchno, age 24, passed away Sunday morning August 25, 2013 at her residence in Erie. She was born in Erie August 7, 1989 daughter of Barbara Josephine Juchno and Richard E. Hermann, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandmother Theresa R. Juchno of Erie, her Aunt Patti and Uncle Tim Williams of Ga., Uncle David and Aunt Beckie Juchno of Hanover, Pa., Aunt Ann Juchno of Dayton, Ohio, Aunt Michele Owens of Dayton, Ohio and her "Dad" Rod Showers of Erie. She is also survived by her cousins Benji & Ashley, Robbie & Meridith, Cal, Matthew and Sam. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Chester Juchno and her Paternal Grandparents.

Amanda was a loyal member of St. Hedwig Church where she volunteered many hours. She was a graduate of Holy Family School and Erie Collegiate Academy. Amanda was a 2011 Graduate of Gannon University with a B. S. Degree in Education. She student taught at Holy Family School. She was a Pittsburgh Sports fan avidly rooting for the Steelers and Penguins. Amanda liked to read and draw. Her favorite Christmas Special was "A Christmas Story" so the next time you watch it, think of Amanda.

Friends may call at the Mark G. Razanauskas Funeral Home, 701 East Ave., Erie, Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. where a prayer service will be conducted Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Hedwig Church at 10 a.m.
