Just learned yesterday of Bernie's passing and was both crushed and devastated.
Having his sweet, innocent, loving friendship was so enriching, unfortunately so rare among us humans. His thought process, how he lived and shared his life with those he loved. Bernie Snyder was, and will be for the rest of my days, the quintessential example of how one should lead his or her life.
I will miss hearing his voice, his laugh...I so loved him, as did anyone and everyone who was blessed to have known him.

My condolences to all Bernie' s family and close friends. I was blessed enough to have met him, he was truly a man who made an impact on my life. Before I began going to Erie Christian Fellowship in a consecutive basis, even after, Bernie reached out to me, during a time when I was very lost. I will forever remember him for his Godly love, compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith. God used him, in miraculous ways to minister to me.

Bernie probably more exemplified Jesus in word and deed than any man I have known in my 75 years. Always smiling and with a positive word, even during sickness and the issues of life.
When Bernie and Judy first came to Erie Christian Fellowship Church years ago, Bernie joined me in our little pre-service prayer group and was faithful till the end. He was attuned to God's spirit, and would often have a scripture for me that the Lord impressed on his heart.
He was instrumental in and was among the several brothers who put a new roof on for me during a time I wouldn't have been able to afford it.
Yes, in word and deed, Bernie was God's man, and represented Him well to all of us. He will be missed, but is now in glory, smiling at Jesus. I pray for Judy and the family, for peace and comfort during this time.

Bernie was proof that meek is not week. Taught that people matter more than things. Spoke volumes and said little. He showed us how to honor God. And oh how he loved the bible. He was a friend that made you family.
We miss hearing him saying with great love, our name.
And until we see him again, bye bye's.

My condolences to the Snyder family at the passing of Bernie. He was a one of a kind person, and cared for his students at JWP Middle school while he tauhgt. He was alway smiling, and upbeat, with a joke or two. One of the best. He will be missed

It is a wonderful thing to know that our Lord has said to Bernie: "Well done My good and faithful servant". Everyone who knew Bernie, loved him as we did. His influence in our lives will remain as we fondly remember Bernie for his gentle and caring spirit.

My deepest sympathy to Judy and family as you adjust to the the transitioning of Bernie to his permanent, heavenly home. I'd only known him for the few years I've been attending Erie Christian Fellowship, but he certainly made an impression with his friendly, welcoming and gentle personality and his beautiful smile. He will be missed!
