Donald Adams Obituary
Donald R. Adams, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge.
Donald was born in Erie, in 1922, a son of the late Roy and Ida Quinlisk Adams. He was a graduate of Academy High School and served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp. in WWII. He then graduated from Gannon University.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Stella in 2001; an infant daughter Linda Jane; a sister Helen "Boots" Snook Nordin; and three brothers Kenneth, John and Edward Adams.
Survivors include his son Donald J. Adams of Erie; sisters Corinne "Teenie" Farina, Mary "Peggy" Fitzgerald and Sue Wiest.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements were private and entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
