To the family of Ed, and to Maureen (he loved you all so). We are so very sorry to hear about Ed, what a wonderful caring and sweet guy he was. We have had the great pleasure of his friendship for about 12 years now. In that time he has taken us on many vacations, (in his limo-we wanted no other) and vacationed right along with us - his standing joke with Jr. was - no you can't drive the limo! And we have a sign proudly displayed at Jr.'s that says just that. But more often that that - he has just always there for us - he would come to our parties, and house, and even stop into work just to say hi!
Every Christmas he would bring us a beautiful poinsetta, and he always tried to bring clients into Jr.'s to give business to us--his friends, but not if they were too tipsy - he always looked out for us that way. What a gentle and loving man, we will miss him terribly, and I know we will never see a red poinsetta that we will not be reminded of our dear friend Ed.
You were truly a first class act, Ed-We love you man! Your forever friends at Jr's Comedy Club,
Doug, Debbie, Jr., Kim, and Brenda and Al, and all your many friends here at Jr.'s that love you!

Very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He sold vitamins to my grandparents and I had the great pleasure of working with him at La Grand. He was a class act, a standard in the chauffeur business. I am certain that he is smiling now with that twinkle in his eye! All my best!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Ed Dewey. After knowing Ed for many years we lost touch, my mistake. He will always be remembered for his energetic nature and good will to others. May the memories of the good he has done be a lasting tribute to him. He will be missed.
